THE BOOK

Front cover of Digital PR for AI Search: How Earned Coverage Builds Brand Visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI. The artwork shows an illustrated stack of newspapers, the top one headed "Featured In" with publication wordmarks, linked to three tiles labelled ChatGPT, Google AI and Gemini, above the labels Earn Coverage, Build Authority and Third Party Corroboration and the byline AI James Dooley, Peter Jones, Paul Truscott and Ben Nicholls.

What does this chapter argue?

A London law firm's chief marketing officer, spending more than £25,000 a month across Facebook ads, pay per click and Checkatrade, researched three agencies across Claude, Google AI Mode and ChatGPT. The CMO named no pages. PromoSEO came out of all three positively; the CMO signed, brought two sister companies across, and the firm became PromoSEO's biggest customer.

The chapter does not claim to know which pages the machines read; it says three systems asked separately agreed, and that such consensus comes from a record built across many independent sources over time. It adds that two of the three Decision Engine Optimisation case studies on record were won by the more expensive quote.

I was amazed how positive the LLMs were to use PromoSEO. I was unsure to sign up but AI 100% made my decision for me and I'm very happy they did.

The firm's chief marketing officer, as quoted in Chapter 14
